Welcome to the Lunge Series, also referred to as the Psoas Lunge.
This exercise is highly versatile and allows for various variations, making it a favorite of mine.
The Lunge Series offers a wide range of benefits, including:
- A challenging balance component.
- A thorough hip flexor stretch.
- An effective inner thigh stretch.
In this video, we've included some modifications to increase the challenge:
- A roll-up for an additional balance challenge.
- A hug during the lunge to maintain proper alignment.
- A rotated lunge to enhance inner thigh flexibility.
I frequently incorporate this series into my client workouts because of its functional and enjoyable nature.
