Welcome to the Spinal Twist + Figure 4 Twist series!
I've previously demonstrated this series during the #exerciseadvent challenge, but it's worth revisiting (this time with improved lighting and camera skills)!
When you rotate your torso, do you twist or roll?
Imagine wringing out a towel versus rolling a rolling pin.
Twisting is inherently more challenging, especially if your spine or ribs feel a bit sticky, so it's a valuable practice.
The Figure 4 Twist is an added bonus, providing a gentle hip stretch within your twist.
The Spinal Twist offers several benefits, including:
- Mobilizing the spine and ribs.
- Enhancing your breathing capacity.
- Providing a satisfying hip stretch.
